Theme Wedding Gown!
$225.00
Whatever reason you like the look, and many do, the 'Elven' gowns are very popular with Faire goers. Are you one of the ladies who absolutely HAVE to have one of the slimming, flowing, graceful gowns? Or perhaps you have an entire wardrobe already? Can I interest you in a wonderful new Elvish Gown?? This would also make a FABULOUS theme wedding gown, or a hand-fasting gown!
This gown is made from a gorgeous brocade that is old ivory with a slightly 'pink' tinge, and has gold threads woven throughout the design - roses! I put wide gold ribbon around the long belled sleeves and around the scooped neckline to bring out the gold threading in the fabric. The bodice and the sleeves are lined in a crinkled satin that matches the brocade beautifully! The back of the gown has hook and eye tape hidden in a deep placket, and then I used an ivory and gold wire woven roping to make it easy to pull the gown in the shape to your body through loops sewn into the side-back seams.
The rope shaping is meant for just that, shaping, not cinching - the fabric is not strong enough to handle cinching!! Just pull tight enough to gently show the curves of your body! This is a light-weight brocade, not a corset, and there is NO boning of any sort!! Some of these photos were taken with, and some without a corset under the gown. This was to show the difference on a smaller, more curvy shape.
The wonderous sleeves of this gown fall all the way to your lower calves! They start just above the elbow (the bell part) and are an elliptical circle with the bottom of the circle ending just above your ankle!! Very eye catching, very Elvish!! The sleeves are fully lined, and the lining is hand stitched, so there isn't any machine stitching to show, even should you reach up for something. There are underarm gussets to help keep from tearing out the fabric when you do reach up for something. It is comfortable, too!

This gown will fit, due to the back lacing, up to the following: bust 40" waist 34" hip is fairly free due to the design. The front length is 58" from the shoulder seam, over the bust down to the serged bottom, and the back length measured from the nape of the neck (not the gown) to the tail of the train is 75". The gown is left at a serged edge and it is the winning bidders responsibility to have it hemmed to the proper length. There is also a matching hand-bag for the gown - fully lined and with the same ivory and gold wire rope drawstrings.
All edges are finished, even the unseen ones - there is nothing left to fray - ever! This is an outfit I would recommend for dry cleaning (Dryell is fine), because the fabric is delicate. It isn't that I consider it a dry clean only fabric, I don't believe in such things! However, I did not prewash this fabric, and it is delicate, and would require gentle handling, so please don't wash it unless you are willing to take the responsibility for the results! You can iron with a warm iron, just don't use a HOT iron! Go easy on it. This gown will last you for years, if you treat it right!
This lovely gown is special priced at only $225 and ready to ship now. I do have more of this fabric, if you need anything else for your wedding!
